The Individuals Course is shortened from 12 teaching videos down to 5 videos, with selected interview clips from the Parents/Pastors versions, plus all-new teaching segments from Preston Sprinkle. It’s all new material except for a few selected interview clips and this course is targeted toward adults instead of youth.

The target group that the series was created for is High School youth. Presented by either pastors/leaders in a youth ministry or parents in the home.

That said, while this resource was created with youth in mind, and the videos do reference youth throughout, it’s very much applicable to Christians of all ages. All of our speakers and interviewees are between 20-55 years old, and we dive deep into Scripture and discuss some complex theological themes in an understandable manner.

It is meant to fit within a 30 minute discussion and small group time. Each youth video averages around 18 minutes. Giving you around 10-15 minutes for leaders to connect with youth and follow up with questions about what they saw and heard in the video.

No! We’ve taken all the work and worry out of teaching such important subjects. However, this doesn’t mean we didn’t leave room for leader engagement. Every session still rests heavily on personal interaction and small group time.

The simple answer is no. There are multiple ways for you to share the videos created for youth. However, downloading is not an option. This is why we’ve provided a helpful user guide (available in the pastors package) that walks you though several options for streaming on most platforms and presentation tools.

Great question! Although the videos are already set and ready to go we’ve made the leader guide and transcripts editable. This way you can share in a manner that is more you, less us.

Although we would love for you to tackle all 12 at once we know this might not be possible. The series was created knowing this might happen. Thus, we created 4 modules. So you can choose to teach one module every few months. Or two modules in one year and two more the following year. It’s up to you to decide how best to use the series!

For something like this we might suggest the parents course. Only because it would allow you plenty of time to review the material prior to meeting with your group. It also includes a devotional that you could share with your students every week to help them in their continued growth.

Even though you get access to 50 log-ins with the pastors package those are meant to be used by parents and youth leaders. So not all of the content would be useful to your students if you provided a log-in.

We would recommend giving it consideration based on your students needs. How you’ve taught past bible studies and how engaged you think your youth will be with the material.

Because of this we will begin the process of exploring the development of a series that is tailor-made for teachers to present in the classroom. Both courses include the same exact session videos for mentors and youth, but their intended user is different. 

The Parents Course is designed to be used in the home by a parent(s) with their child(ren). It is well equipped to cultivate healthy and impactful conversations in the home on the topics of sex, sexuality, and gender. This course is licensed for one user, you do not have the ability to invite others to participate/view the course, and it does not include any additional materials beyond parent guides, youth guides, videos, and helpful parental resource tools.

The Pastors Course it is meant to be used in a teaching setting – churches, organizations, schools, etc. It includes all guides for leaders, parents, and youth, it comes with 50 additional logins so you can add leaders, volunteers, and parents to follow along with the course at no additional cost to them (you also have the option to buy more than the first initial 50 logins if necessary).

No, these courses are entirely digital. The videos can be streamed and the additional PDF supplementals included in your purchase can be downloaded and printed for ease of use.
